“ I've been missing toast pork from Kau Kau for 10 plus years!!!! lol I used to come here when I lived close by. I visited it again and the old gentleman is still working there. I ordered BBQ combo, Singapore Mei fen, dry noodles with beef, fried chicken wings and stir fry green beans. We loved roast pork so much that i ordered two more pounds to go. Other dishes were average. It wasn't too crowded as it was late afternoon. The waitress was very friendly. We enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend roast pork when you visit. ”
“ Nostalgic restaurant with seemingly a thousand things on the menu (that's how you know it's a true Cantonese restaurant haha)! Lots of seating for both large and small groups, and pretty wall decor (see photos). Was grateful that the food wasn't too greasy! Things were lightly seasoned but the char siu was flavorful and not too salty. Note that they put soy sauce on the white rice, request it without if you don't want them to do this. ”
“ Friends recommended Kau Kau when we were planning our Seattle vacation. I liked the old school atmosphere and menu. We were seated immediately on Mother's Day for dinner. Service was good, and we did not feel rushed. As soon as we saw Curry Tomato Beef Chow Mein on the menu, we felt at home! This item is unheard of in LA or Orange County restaurants these days. We also ordered the half portion of roast duck and minced pork stuffed tofu. The portions were ample and delicious. Parking in Chinatown is difficult, but we managed to get street parking. ”
“ This spot has some amazing cantonese bbq! I had it saved on my list for a while and finally got the chance to come on a Saturday for lunch. They have their lunch combo plates when you dine in, which are only $10 and so worth it. We all got that, and I choose bbq duck as my one choice - it comes with pork fried rice and bbq pork already. Additionally, they serve you some egg drop soup before your meal comes too. The food was fantastic! The bbq pork was by far my favorite item - SO juicy, tender, and flavorful. If I were to come back I would order a bunch of this for sure. The fried rice was also really tasty, and the duck skin was flavorful with the tender meat. Service was quick and efficient, and there's really not much else you can ask for. I would definitely come back to takeout their bbq pork and try their roast pork next time! Such a good spot - I would recommend it to anyone :) ”
